“ Went to the Black Cat for lunch with a friend and was blown away. The service was quick and the food was phenomenal. Loved seeing lots of local ingredient options on the menu. I had the salmon sandwich with green beans, which was spectacular! ”
“ Cozy and awesome view of the sunset. Server was accommodating and made changes to the food and drinks menu at our requests. The place is inside a court yard type building and is on the 3rd floor (accessible via stairs or elevator). Definitely would come back. ”
“ We were in fairhaven and this place was suggested all over the public forums. It is situated on the 3rd floor of a very beautiful building. There was a wait for 30 mins on a Tuesday evening. We ordered the special blueberry mock-tail, cat lemonade, caesar salad with chicken, a side of baguette and po boy sandwich with shrimp. The caesar salad was fresh and crunchy. The po boy was delicious - the shrimp was fantastically seasoned. Both the drinks were amazing as well. The staff were cheerful and quick. We were well taken care of. Though we were a little disappointed with baguette served cold - made it difficult to spread butter on it. Overall, I’d recommend it if you’re in town. ”
“ This is one of my favorite restaurants in Fairhaven. I've tried quite a few of their menu items in the last couple of years and all have been something to brag about. I particularly love their crab mac and cheese which is the ultimate in comfort food. The atmosphere and decor are inviting and relaxing and the service is top notch. I consider it a good value for the money and a great place for special occasions or just a great lunch. ”
“ This is one of the coolest places I have eaten. Set in an old building with the most beautiful mill work. Truly spectacular. Then the food was very yummy as well. Try the Hippie Salad but add grilled prawns. The grilled cheese was also amazing with toasted cheese on the outside and tomato soup that I believe had parmesaian stired in. Really really good. Fun place to visit if your in the Bellingham area. Worth the drive even if your not! ”
